Haiti needs international support.  Large numbers of Haitians are needlessly dying by violence every day. Food, medicine, and other essential goods are hard to find and prohibitively expensive. If you’d like to petition your elected representatives, please call or email them.  Find your representatives’ contact information here by typing in your home address: https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials

The United States of America cannot ignore this humanitarian crisis close to our own shores.

The “The Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act” was introduced Friday, April 4, 2025, aimed at reducing the funding to Haiti’s gangs that is coming from the U.S. . You can read more about it here and contact your House representative to voice your support: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/2643/all-info

Partners In Health (another organization working to improve healthcare in Haiti) has an easy tool to email your representatives in Congress to reverse the (January 2025) decision to freeze U.S. foreign aid spending on global health programs: https://act.pih.org/foreign-aid-freeze-email

For more advocacy resources, check out the Haiti Response Coalition’s (HRC) website: https://www.haitiresponse.org/resources CCH works closely with HRC on initiatives that align with our mission, and they’re an excellent source of information and ideas for how to take action.
